Appliances Needed

What if your washer broke and you don't have money to go to the laundry mat?  What if your stove broke and you don't have the money to fix/replace it?  How would you cook dinner for your family?  Love INC provides basic appliances to people from our community that are in need. Love INC's immediate needs for our Appliance Ministry are the following items:

• Washers
• Gas and Electric Dryers
• Gas and Electric Stoves
• Refrigerators

This ministry provides the items listed above to clients in need.  The Appliance Ministry requests that donations are clean and in working order. The ministry asks that appliances are cleaned prior to donating.  Note on working order:  Our warehouse does not have the correct outlets to test the appliances that are donated.  The ministry asks that donations are in working order to protect our clients.  An example, if a refrigerator is donated, and it is not in working order and we give it to the client, the client could lose what little food they have.

Birthday Box Ministry Items

If children are your passion,  this might be up your alley.  The Birthday Box Ministry provides birthday party supplies for up to 8 people; for those who cannot afford to provide a birthday for their children.  Items needed for this minstry are:

• For a party of 8 - Party Favors
• For a party of 8 - Themed cups, napkins, plates
• Party Decorations - Streamers and balloons
• Children and teen bibles
• Birthday Cake Mixes and frosting
• Cake Pans 2 round 8"/9"  or 1 - 9" X 12" pan

If you would like to donate any of these items to our Birthday Box Ministry, please drop them off at Love INC at 1106 Fulton Street in Grand Haven.  Attn:  Jeanette Laarman.

Furniture Items Needed:

Can you imagine your children sleeping on the floor or not having a dresser to put their clothing in? What if you just lost everything due to circumstances? What would you do? At Love INC, we will provide basic furniture to people in need.

The furniture ministry is in need of the following clean, undamaged items:

• Sofas
• Twin, Full and Queens size mattresses, box springs, frames (no king size or waterbeds; due to the limited space of our clients)
• Chest of Drawers and dressers
• Kitchen Tables and Chairs
• Recliners
• Bunk Beds
• Love Seats
• Living room Chairs

Operational Needs

Love INC is very frugal with the money received from individuals, groups, churches and businesses. Love INC's desire is to utilize these resources in accordance with God’s will. Our budget is created with operation expenses in mind; however, if we could receive the following items in donation form, this would free up these funds for different ministries as we grow. Please consider making a donation from the following list:

• Copy Paper
• Manila-three tab-letter size-folders
• Individual sugar and creamer packs
• Coffee stirrers for the receptionist area
• Window cleaner
• Paper towels - rolled
• Old English/furniture polish
• White Out - white and buff colored
• 30 Gallon 1.1 Mil Trash Bags
• 13 Gallon trash bags

Pantry Items Needed

Love INC provides food to an average of 30 - 40 families per day.  We have 7 different pantries to accommodate people in need. Please consider making a donation of one or more of the following items. 

• Hearty Chunky Soups
• Ramen Noodles
• Mixed Soups
• Pasta Sauce
• Canned Pasta
• Stuffing
• Jams and Jellies
• Mandarin Oranges
• Chili
• Tuna
• Sloppy Joe Mix
• Carrots
• Tomatoes
• Canned Beans - all kinds
• Pineapple
• Cereal
• Staples
• Dry or Canned Milk
• Hash
• Beef Stew
• Boxes Pasta, Rice, Sides, Potatoes
• Seasonings

We do have a generous supply/surplus of Mac and Cheese, Peanut Butter, Pears, Unsweetened Applesauce and Peaches

Donations can be dropped off at Love INC at 1106 Fulton Street, Grand Haven MI 49417.
