Appliance Ministry
(Sponsored by First Christian Reformed Church)
This ministry provides donated, used appliances to those in need in our community, as designated by Love, INC. Clients make an appointment with Love INC to request an appliance. Once a week volunteers from the Appliance Ministry load up requested appliances and deliver them to the clients who need them. These volunteers carry the appliances into the homes but do not hook them up.
Biblical Counseling
(Sponsored by Lakeshore Baptist Church and Harvest Bible Chapel)
Love INC refers people to Lakeshore Baptist Church (click here for more information) and Harvest Bible Chapel (click here for more information) for Biblical counseling. Both offer this service for free. What that means is that they view problems and their solutions from God's perspective as presented to us in His Word. Biblical counseling differs a great deal from other popular and/or secular counseling. While these other approaches to counseling often view man's problem as the result of his environment, his parenting, or something else outside of him, Biblical counseling believes man's problems start within him. In Proverbs 4:23, God says, "Watch over your heart with all diligence for from it flows the issues of life."
Birthday Box Ministry

They must save $250 in an emergency fund, set aside enough money to pay for three months of car insurance, and be able to afford the continuing monthly expenses they would incur for gas, car insurance, and car maintenance/car repairs. The minimum amount of time a client participates is 8 weeks and may go longer based on the client's income and dedication to the program. To find out more information a person needs to make an appointment with a Love INC counselor to receive a referral to this program.

Loving Connections Budget Counseling Program
(Sponsored by Love INC)
Many people today struggle with how to manage their personal finances. Love INC recognizes this and offers help for those who desire to learn how to manage their money responsibly. Our program consists of two parts: a class and one-on-one budget counseling. In the class, clients view Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace DVD series—a series that covers all aspects of personal finance. The class also includes a time for questions and discussion. It’s a great opportunity for families to share what they’re going through and to support one another as they work toward getting on track financially. In addition to the class, clients get to meet one-on-one with their own personal budget counselors, who teach them how to create and stay on a budget. Our budget counselors also act as their accountability partners, offering them not only help but also hope along the way.
